EVENT DETAILS Thursday, September 30 | 9am to 4 pm Myers Park Presbyterian Church Outreach Center 1073 Providence Road, Charlotte, NC 28207 $210 per person All levels welcome. Class limit of 10. Spots are saved once full payment is received. In the event you need to cancel before the workshop, a refund will be issued only if your spot is filled. WORKSHOP AGENDA
--Review of the basics like composition, values, edges, color, and brush stroke
--Demonstration of how to start from a blank white canvas
--Short lunch break (bring your own lunch or walk to nearby restaurants)
--Paint a still life set-up with instruction (or more if time allows)
SUPPLIES NEEDED Canvases At least one 11” x 14” acrylic or oil-primed linen board
You may bring extra boards for single paintings, but no larger than 11” x 14”.
Brushes
Bring what you have, but I recommend a flat and filbert in sizes 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10.
Don’t feel like you have to buy all of these!
