Late Fall and Much to Share

And so much to be thankful for.

Well, even though things are opening up, one very positive note about curtailed social events is more time to paint! Glass half full.

I love this photo that came across my email. A picture of Ann Blair Brown's renovated farm house called Bluebird Hill Retreat in Tennessee. I painted it and gave it to my youngest daughter as a house warming gift. It is all about shapes and values... and color. And given we love the mountains, and especially the old barn structures that are falling in faster than I can paint them, this struck a close chord with me.

New 2-Day Painting Workshop in January: Focus on Value and Color

Last night was Halloween and Thanksgiving will be here in a blink. Then Christmas and yep, right behind that, a new year, 2022! This past fall I taught a 1-day workshop in Charlotte. It was wonderful, but as you can probably guess, not enough time!

Never enough time to do all we want. So don't delay! Sign up today.

Fill out the registration form here.

Start the new year off by delving deeper into painting, learning and growing. This would be a great gift for yourself or family!

My Fall 2021 Full Day Painting Workshop Artists

I've Been Hard at Work. Take a look.

Below are some recent large and small pieces. My work is shown at Cotswold Marketplace and at Common Good Co. in Boone, NC. And of course you are always welcome to visit my studio, here in Charlotte and see what I have in the works. I am in the season of commissions, which I love to paint. Feel free to contact me if you have a particular memory you want painted. I would be honored to discuss.

On a Personal Note

David and I celebrated 40 years of marriage! Beyond just a great husband, he's a pretty decent frame maker, too. And, I would be remiss if I did not mention that Elliott, our first grandchild, who just turned 6 months old this week, was a squirrel for Halloween. We are so grateful for all the joy.
