2022 in The Rearview Mirror. Hello 2023.

Most of us are happy to ring in this new year but as I look back, it was a fruitful year with much to be thankful for.

They say miles on the canvas make you a better painter, and 2022 afforded more time to just plain paint, learn and grow. Not only was I able to hone my craft, teaching others always makes me up my game. And even better, learning from others, like James Richards and Stephanie Hartshorn is a treat beyond words. Painting is a joyful journey, and one of the more enjoyable parts is painting with your tribe of art friends. Over the past 16 years I have met the most fun, creative painter friends and am so grateful.

One goal for 2023 is to focus in on painting palm trees!

Where Would I Be Without YOU? I would be remiss if I did not thank the galleries and shops that represent my artwork. Thank you to the wonderful staffs at Cotswold Marketplace and The Good News Shop, both in Charlotte, as well as Common Good Gallery in Boone and Blowing Rock, NC. Thanks too to Art Salon, who has shown my work for years now.

And then there are all of YOU who follow me and encourage me. So grateful.

Wishing you a healthy and fruitful new year ahead.

Artful Work of 2022
